Parents - Water needed - Our kids need to stay hydrated. We could us water for our participants during class time and SCUBA sessions.

Parents - Drivers needed - We could use your help driving the participants in the event they can't get a ride.

Parents - Elgin Fox trot - We need volunteers to help with logistics at the Elgin Fox trot that will be going on May 28th in downtown Elgin.

Fundraising is always a big help for us. If you could find some time to go out and raise funds on your own or join us at one of our fundraising events.

Donations - Self Development - Self Development Team needs help getting some in-kind donations. Things like hula hoops, tennis balls, dodge balls, basket balls, Pads of paper, pens, etc...

Donate SCUBA equipment - If you have extra SCUBA equipment that you would like to donate to our cause, please let us know. Any help we can get is always appreciated!

Underwater Videographer Needed for June 9th anytime between 8am & 1pm to take footage of kids during their confined water dive.  Location: Larkin High School.

Carnival Marketing - We DESPERATELY need people who will help us distribute flyers and posters for the upcoming carnival on June 1 - 3.  If you have a spare hour or two, please let us know and we can give you a map and flyers and/or posters to distribute.

 

Volunteer positions within the nationally expanding S.T.A.R.S. organization are numerous and multi-faceted. Some of the many exciting opportunities include;

    Event coordinators

    Photography/Videography

    Fundraising coordination (events, contacts, letters, speakers)

    PADI Divemaster/Divemaster candidates/AIs/Instructors

    Deckhands and equipment assistants

    Logistics/Operations

    Physical Fitness Trainer

    Self Development Coaches

Volunteers can barter their time and services for additional PADI training

provided by our S.T.A.R.S. instructional staff.
